Steering Committee
Through consensus decision making, the Steering Committee determines the overall direction of Women's March Sussex, using our mission and the principles of the Four Freedoms to guide us, including setting our purpose and goals, overseeing organizational operations, and developing membership.

- Manage the publicity activities of WMS in order to share information among current followers, including newsletters, social media postings, and our website.
- Serve as an information clearinghouse for issues, actions, and events relevant to WMS and WMS partners.

- Establish collaborative relationships with local and regional organizations and groups whose purposes include empowering women in Sussex County.
- Organize outreach activities to engage with WMS members and the community at large.

- Develop and implement creative programming to educate and inspire action on women-centric issues that threaten our rights, infringe on our freedoms, and weaken our democracy.
- Issues can be political or social, and reflect either directly or indirectly on women.

- Raise funds to support the work of WMS, including developing and selling merchandise, holding fundraisers, soliciting donations, and pursuing grant and/or sponsorship opportunities.
