An “RD” is a political party’s representative district committee. In theory, Democrats and Republicans could each have 41 RDs in Delaware, one for each representative district represented in the Delaware General Assembly.  These committees exist to elect party members to office. To do so, they organize party members, raise money, hold events, educate voters, get out the vote, and more.
